We will only offer procedures that have strong clinical evidence of effectiveness and a high patient satisfaction rating. All of our procedures from BOTOX® Cosmetic and Restylane® therapy, to Lumenis laser hair removal and IPL photo-rejuvenation, to the cutting edge SmartLipo procedure meet these criteria.

About the Doctor
Dr. Maria Baens is board certified and has been practicing in the Myrtle Beach area for 11 years. She is a highly trained physician, but more than that, a caring and compassionate provider. She understands that often you have questions concerning the safety, side effects, and other aspects of the procedures you are considering. Dr. Baens, as well as the rest of our staff, always has time to answer your questions so that you are at ease with the decision to go forward with a procedure.

Dr. Baens is certified in Smart Lipo by Cynosure Personal Touch Med Spa is one of only 2 facilities in the state of South Carolina offering this technology. Additionally, Dr. Baens is certified in meso-therapy. She was trained by the leading U.S. experts in these procedures. Dr. Baens trained initially with Dr. Roman Chubatay, the president of the International Meso-Lipo Therapy Society and a nationally recognized expert. Dr. Baens then underwent advanced training.
Additionally, she is a certified Lumenis laser physician in both laser hair removal and IPL photo-rejuvenation.

When choosing a provider for non-invasive cosmetic procedures please consider the following and do not be afraid to ask these questions.

2. How long have you been doing this procedure and how many have you done?

3. Is all of your staff certified by the provider of the procedure and/or equipment used in the procedure?
