Practice Information
Dr. Robert L. True’s medical training started with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho, where he was born. He practiced pharmacy for several years until he entered medical school at the University of Nevada Medical School in Reno, Nevada, receiving his Medical Doctor Degree & graduating with honors.



After medical school, he completed his internship at Charity Hospital in New Orleans under the Tulane University pro-gram. Then he practiced Emergency Medicine and Trauma for two years and gained a wealth of medical experience.
His residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology was also with Tulane Medical University and Charity Hospitals of Louisiana. Here, he received extensive training in routine and high-risk pregnancy and Gynecological surgery. He is a Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist and a Fellow of The American College of Ob Gyn.

Dr. True was trained to perform Liposuction initially through programs sponsored by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and by the International Society of Cosmetogynecologists. He currently teaches liposuction to physicians monthly sponsored by the American Academy of Cosmetic Gynecologists. He also performs vaginal cosmetic surgeries, including laser vaginal rejuvenation and labioplasty.

He has been featured in the Top Docs of Fort Worth Magazine, and is a member of several medical organizations, including Empire’s Who’s Who in Medicine, TMA, FW ObGyn, AMA, ACOG, AACS, AACG, ASISS, and others. He has donated much time and expertise as a Physician Consultant for the Arlington Pregnancy Center.
