Dr. Gary Berger received his medical degree from the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn. After finishing an internship in General Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center, and a three-year residency in General Surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center, Dr. Berger then completed a fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center.

Dr. Berger is Board Certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Aesthetic Society, the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons and the New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Berger remains active at Montefiore, as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Director of the Plastic Surgery Clinics. Selected as a "BEST DOCTOR" in Manhattan, the Bronx and Westchester by Better Living Magazine and listed as one of America's Cosmetic Doctors by Castle Connolly, Dr. Berger performs a multitude of plastic surgical procedures for the Face, Body, Breast, and Skin.
