An exceptional surgeon isn't born overnight. Dr. Middleton has the training you can trust. He is a board certified surgeon who has been practicing cosmetic surgery since 1985. He is internationally recognized for his surgical skills and artistry. Dr. Middleton is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada, and an assistant professor at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine.

Dr. Middleton spent 8 years at the University of Western Ontario where he obtained his Bachelor of Science and Medical Degrees. He then completed 5 years of internship and surgical residency training at the University of Toronto. Dr. Middleton later received two additional years of advanced fellowship surgical training from the University of Michigan, Texas and California.

Dr. Middleton is a staff member at Toronto’s St. Michael’s Hospital. He was previously an active staff member at Toronto’s Wellesley Hospital for 15 years and a consulting staff member at the world famous Princess Margaret Hospital for 10 years. His practice involved managing both cosmetic as well as complex head and neck cancer, microvascular and reconstructive cases.

Today, Dr. Middleton’s practice is exclusively cosmetic and is performed in a warm, inviting Victorian brownstone in downtown Toronto where patients are provided with the latest approaches to surgical and non-surgical cosmetic enhancement procedures.

Dr. Middleton is frequently quoted in the media and has appeared on numerous television shows including, Style by Jury, Skin Deep, Plastic Makes Perfect, Cityline, the Jon Dore show, ET Canada, and The List.
